Abstract

General Efficiency Balance (GEB) is an important property of designs. Variance balance and efficiency balance are special cases of GEB. Here, GEB block designs for comparing treatments belonging to two disjoint sets in the presence of systematic trend have been discussed. Methods of constructing Trend Resistant General Efficiency Balanced Bipartite Block Designs (TR-GEBBPB) designs have been presented. The block designs so obtained are trend resistant, GEB and are more efficient for estimating the contrasts pertaining to two treatments from two different sets.
